Philadelphia Area Custom Publisher Hollister Creative Wins Three National Mature Media Awards
National Mature Media Awards honors Hollister Creative for Philadelphia Corporation for Aging's newspaper Milestones.

WYNNEWOOD, PA, July 27, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hollister Creative, a Philadelphia area custom publishing firm, won three awards in the 19th annual National Mature Media Awards competition. Two were general excellence awards for full issues of Milestones, the monthly newspaper Hollister produces on behalf of Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA). The other was for an article that appeared in Milestones.

Milestones is read by more than 180,000 mature Philadelphians. The publication delivers "News and Possibilities for Seniors," written by seniors under the direction of Hollister Creative editor Don Harrison, a 60-year veteran of Philadelphia newspapers. Hollister also provides art direction, photography and graphic design services for Milestones. PCA has been a Hollister client since 2001.

Hollister Creative received Merit Awards for general excellence for the May 2009 and June 2009 issues of Milestones. Hollister received a Silver Award in writing for a feature article by Joe Clark, a retired Philadelphia Daily News reporter, feature writer and columnist.

Hollister Creative has won National Mature Media Awards for Milestones every year since 2003. The competition is presented by the Illinois-based Mature Market Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for the senior market.

Hollister Creative also designed the e-publication Milestones E-News, which PCA publishes weekly for adults who are 50-plus or caring for an older person. Each issue of Milestones E-News aggregates current news headlines and provides original feature articles on work, leisure, volunteering, food, finanaces, health and elder care.
